Meet Coach Julie, RN
JULIE FUIMANO, MBA, BSN, RN
Julie is the owner and CEO of Nurturing Your Success where she provides Coaching, Writing, and Motivational Speaking to audiences across the United States. She is a recognized leader in the field of Personal Leadership Development. Serving clients since 2001, her passion is to educate and coach leaders to gain the respect they deserve by being more assertive.
My Philosophy
I believe, more than anything, that each of us is here to be all we are capable of being so we powerfully contribute our talents to a world that needs us…but first, we must stop hiding the best of ourselves behind a wall of fear, self-doubt, and negative mental conditioning, and start believing in – and having compassion for – ourselves so we can speak our truth and create powerful habits that allow us to be fully who we are.
My mission is to educate, inspire and empower leaders in helping professions – health care and non-profits – to assert themselves in the *right way* by being compassionate with themselves and using empathy with others.
Only by learning to assert yourself will you gain the respect you crave, the cooperation you need and the promotions you deserve.
I want you to enjoy yourself and your life as a caring professional – as you care for others!
I believe that to succeed at that you must learn to be assertive – to ask for what you need and to teach others how to treat you in a way that feels good. You also must learn ways to bring down others’ walls of self-doubt and fear so that trust is developed, connecting is possible and cooperation is achieved.
What is SO great about my coaching, coaching programs, articles and presentations is that the work encompasses your natural state of compassion, develops your emotional competence and teaches you cutting edge tools for asserting yourself and expressing your needs so you gain confidence and self-respect, build deep emotional connections and create amazing relationships at work and at home.

My Vision ~ My Passion
I see a world where we all get along.
- Where we use our compassion to care for and respect ourselves
- Where we respect each other – no matter who it is or what our affiliation with them
- Where we speak to each other in a way that demonstrates that we understand what the other has to say – they feel heard
- Where we help bring down the walls of fear, pain, shame and self-doubt behind which each of us hides the best of ourselves
By bringing down these walls, we are able to connect with each other more deeply
- We feel understood and accepted for who we are
- We feel loved
- We unleash the potential that lies behind the wall
- We develop trusting relationships
- And we bring out the best in each other.
The ONLY way to do this is to change the way we ‘do’ compassion.
We MUST learn to be compassionate with ourselves. We MUST learn to use empathy in our communications with others and we MUST learn to RECEIVE empathy and be willing to bring down our walls.
Only by being assertive and caring for ourselves will we gain the respect we deserve and experience the amazing relationships and deep connections we long for.
Tod
ay, I live with my fiancé, Louis Donley, his son Jael and my son Josh. We have 5 cats – Lou keeps saying that “5 cats do not make a dog” but we have not yet indulged his desire for one.
I enjoy coaching my clients from my home and working as an RN in a local psychiatric facility, and traveling to speak at conferences throughout the United States. I enjoy gardening, reading, writing, biking and Pilates. Life is good.
