The Greatest Gift

What is the greatest gift?

Whitney Houston sang a song about the greatest gift. She said it was “love”.

Others claim the greatest gift is “life” or that the greatest gift is the “present” – this very moment in time.

These are all true. You could not experience love if you are not fully present to the moment. You’d miss the emotional trigger and would not feel it. This is often the case when we are too busy, too stressed, too overwhelmed, too fearful…we are not able to experience the good feelings that we all long for.

But here’s the kicker, “without YOU, you have nothing”. You would not be able to enjoy anything if YOU were not alive to experience it, if YOU were not here in all of your glory.

YOU are amazing!

With all of your thoughts and flaws and fears…

With all of your charm and your giggle and your smile…

With all of your scars and bumps and bulges…

YOU are incredible!

And you are here to enjoy ~

  • material things,
  • experiences (such as vacations, the sunset, a good meal),
  • other people (your family, children, friends, neighbors, colleagues – everyone you meet has something special for you to enjoy),
  • your talents and skills,
  • your physical body and your mind,
  • the earth…

YOU are the Greatest Gift.

This week, as you contemplate what you are grateful for, consider being grateful for YOUR ABILITY TO GIVE OF YOURSELF, YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS, and the IMPACT YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE in the lives of others – everyone who has crossed your path.

When we are able to see beyond our own needs and into the hearts of others, we see more clearly the role we play in the universe. YOU are important to me just as I play a role in your life. THIS is the greatest of GIFTS – that you share what is best of you with me and I do the same.

signaturelogo-med.smIf each of us gives the very best of ourselves AND we VALUE that by acknowledging ourselves and showing gratitude for WHAT WE ARE ABLE TO GIVE, we feel love.

We feel connected. We experience the best of ourselves and what life has to offer.

For the gift of YOU, I am so very grateful. You are a blessing in my life.

And I am grateful for all that I am able to contribute to YOUR SUCCESS.

What are YOU grateful for? Please leave your comments below.

Happy Thanksgiving from Nurturing Your Success.

Sending you love,

Coach Julie
